The GSM subscriber base stood at 71.62 crore at the end of May, 2015, Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) said in a statement.
Bharti Airtel added 12.19 lakh subscribers to take its base to 23.06 crore at the end of June.
Idea Cellular added 16.20 lakh subscribers to take its base to 16.20 crore whereas Vodafone added 3.94 lakh users and its overall base at the end of June stood at 18.53 crore.
Aircel added 3.14 lakh users to take its base to 8.30 crore while Uninor added 4.17 lakh subscribers to take its base to 4.81 crore.
Videocon and MTNL added 1.54 lakh and 15,633 subscribers, respectively during the period and their user base stood at 76.10 lakh and 34.60 lakh, respectively.
