At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, guarseed for delivery in October contracts was trading higher by Rs 25 or 0.70 per cent to Rs 3,612 per quintal, with an open interest of 95,160 lots.
In a similar manner, guardseed for delivery in far-month November edged higher by Rs 12, or 0.33 per cent to Rs 3,651 per quintal, in an open interest of 11,840 lots.
Marketmen attributed rebound in guardseed prices at futures trade to building up of positions by participants, tracking a firm trend at the spot markets on the back of tight supplies amid buying at lower levels from guargum makers.
