Guiddoo raises seed funding from angel investors

Guiddoo, a travel technology firm, today said it has secured seed funding from angel investors.
The investors in Guiddoo include Pawan Borle, SVP Fly Dubai who is a serial investor; Abrar Ahmad, Partner TravelCapitalist ventures; Nirmal Singh, Management Team Ducab, Vishal Shah, Founder AcFin Consulting, Sanjay Shah and Ushik Gala, it said in a statement.
The financial details, however, were not disclosed.
Guiddoo travel app has curated content for over 300 monuments, attractions and locations around the world and has seen over one lakh downloads.

Bosch join hands with Aravind Eye care System * Technology and services firm Bosch has joined hands with Aravind Eye Care System to offer comprehensive eye examination at the vision centres run by them in small villages.
R D Thulasiraj, Director, Operations, Aravind Eye Care System, told PTI here today that Bosch would offer a physical hand-held device and supporting software that would help the para medical staff at the vision centre to take high quality picture of the eye and send it to the specialist for giving his consultation.
The software provided along with the camera would facilitate exporting captured images to a computer, generate advanced diagnostics and even offer options by which the medical data could be integrated into hospital database.
