"We will meet the CM soon and submit a memorandum stating our demand," said Ishwar Singh, a 'B' licensed judge associated with the International Shooting Sports Federation.
"Trap shooting competition is an Olympic sport now and being highly competitive it is filled with an excitement. The game is one of courage and perseverance and a shooter's success resolves around meticulous split-skilled movement, calm nerves and a balanced psyche," said Singh, also vice-president of the Baroda Rifle Club.
In a related development, 100 participants from Gujarat will be taking part in the state's maiden district trap shooting tournament to be organised in Savli on January 30.
