As per a notification issued by state General Administration Department(GAD), Principal Secretary in Finance Department (Economic Affairs), S Aparna, is now appointed as the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister.
She replaced G C Murmu, who has been given central deputation and appointed as the Joint Secretary to Government of India in Department of Expenditure.
Aparna is replaced by Commissioner of Geology and Mining T Nararajan, who is now appointed as the Secretary in Finance Department(Economic Affairs).
He is replaced by Arvind Agrawal, currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary(ACS), Primary and Secondary Education in the state Education Department. He is now appointed as the ACS in Industries and Mines Department.
Upon his repatriation to state cadre, Sujit Gulati, is now appointed as the Principal Secretary for Primary and Secondary Education.
Arunkumar Solanki, serving as Principal Secretary (Animal Husbandary, Cow Breeding, Fisheries and Cooperation) in Agriculture and Co-operation Department and also holds the additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary in the same department, has been appointed as the full-fledged Principal Secretary in Agriculture and Cooperation Department.
Sanjay Kaul, MD of Tourism Corporation of Gujarat (TCGL) Ltd and Ex-officio Commissioner of Tourism has been made the full-fledged MD of Gujarat Informatics Ltd, a post he used to handle as additional charge.
Dr V Thiruppugazh, Commissioner of Rural Development and Secretary in Panchayats, Rural Housing and Rural Development Department has been transferred as the new Director General of Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute in Ahmedabad, falling under Labour and Employment Department.
Manoj Kumar Das, currently serving as Joint MD of GSPC Ltd is now transferred as the Principal Secretary in Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department.
