The victim, a married woman living in Sadarda village in Malpur tehsil, had filed a complaint with the Malpur Police station last month that Jasubhai Patal (50), director of the Sabar Dairy, and Bipin Patel (40), a lawyer from Helodar village, came to her house when she was alone, and raped her.
Police Inspector P K Patel said that they had come to the house on the pretext of helping the woman's husband who was involved in another rape case.
"The accused Jasu Patel was absconding since the complaint was filed on November 14. We are going to seek his police custody," said Superintendent of Police Mayur Chawda.
