Gujarat: Rs 13.76 lakh seized in Vadodara district

Vadodara district police today detained three persons and seized Rs 13.76 lakh from them at Padra town.
Superintendent of Police Saurabh Tolumbia said the seized currency included Rs 12.82 lakh in the new Rs 2000 notes.
Police, after receiving a tip-off that these men were into exchanging the demonetised currency, laid a trap by sending a dummy customer and nabbed them red-handed.
