Gunmen today looted Rs 4.95 lakh from a senior official of a private finance company in Bihar's Munger district, police said.
The incident occurred on Avantika road under Jamalpur police station area when Nitish Kumar, a manager of the company, was going to deposit Rs 4,95,165 at a nearby bank, Superintendent of Police (SP) Gaurav Mangla said.
The gunmen, who were four in number, looted the sum at gun point and fled on foot, Mangla said.
Police are conducting raids to nab the culprits, he added.
