Gunshots fired at local clinic, compounder beaten up in UP

Gunshots were fired at a private clinic here allegedly by a group of people following a heated argument with a compounder over a pathology report.
Police said the incident happened yesterday at the private medical facility near an over bridge in Dehat Kotwali here.
Sanju, compounder at the clinic, was beaten up with lathis by the group, police said.
Earlier in the day, the compounder had heated verbal exchanges with Manoj of village Ram Nagar Kotwali Nidholikalan over the report, police said.
Later in the evening, Manoj and his associates allegedly came to the clinic, beat up Sanju and fired gunshots, police said.

Owner of the clinic Dr Pavan Mishra has filed an FIR against Manoj and his associates in this connection.
Police said they are investigating the case but no arrest has been made so far.
