Naidu today alleged that the bribery charges on the Italian Rs 3,600 crore VVIP chopper deal had its roots in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to media here he said the BJP has no confidence in the "integrity and impartiality" of the CBI, which is probing the deal. "The CBI is the hand maid of the Congress government," he alleged. The BJP leader mounted a scathing attack on Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde for his reported terror remarks. "His allegation is aimed at pleasing Pakistan," he remarked and added Shinde will be confronted in Parliament. Naidu was here to canvass support for BJP leader J Ranga Raju in the biennial election to the Legislative Council from the Guntur-Krishna graduates constituency.
