On the other hand, Muradnagar gur markets displayed a fall of Rs 125 per quintal in gur pedi and dhayya prices amid sluggish demand.
Marketmen said tight stocks position mainly pushed up gur chakku prices in Delhi.
Slackness in demand amid fresh supplies from manufacturing belts mainly pulled down gur pedi and dhayya prices in Muradnagar, they said.
In Delhi, gur Chakku prices improved by Rs 100 to finish at Rs 3,100-3,200 per quintal.
At Muradnagar, prices of gur Pedi and Dhayya quoted lower from Rs 2,900-3,000 and Rs 2,950-3,00 to end at Rs 2,800-2,875 and Rs 2,900-2,925 per quintal.
Gur chakku Rs 3,000-3,100, pedi Rs 3,200-3,300, dhayya Rs 3,300-3,400 and shakkar Rs 3,400-3,500.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,500-2,550, chakku Rs 2,550-2,850, khurpa Rs 2,600-2,650 and Ladoo Rs 2,800-2,850.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,900-3,000 and dhayya Rs 2,950-3,000.
