On the other hand, gur Pedi prices in Muradnagar markets were up by Rs 50 per quintal on better offtake.
Marketmen said pick up in demand particularly in gur pedi amid less arrivals mainly pushed up the prices in Muradnagar.
Other gur varities in Muradnagar and Muzaffarnagar settled at previous level on scattered demand.
In Muradnagar, gur pedi prices was higher by Rs 50 to conclude at Rs 2,450-2,500 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,300-2,350, chakku Rs 2,450-2,600, khurpa Rs 2,350-2,400 and Ladoo Rs 2,500-2,550.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,450-2,500 and dhayya Rs 2,450-2,500.
