Gur ends steady on sporadic demand

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market ended on a steady note in the national capital today following scattered demand amid sufficient stocks position.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also settled flat on scattered deals.
Marketmen said small buying support and adequate stocks position mainly kept gur prices unaltered.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,500-2,600, pedi Rs 2,600-2,700, dhayya Rs 2,700-2,900 and shakkar Rs 2,900-3,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,200-2,250, chakku Rs 2,250-2,500, khurpa Rs 2,300-2,400 and Ladoo Rs 2,400-2,550.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,250-2,300 and dhayya Rs 2,400-2,450.
