Gur pedi prices dropped by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today on ample stocks amid selective buying.
Elsewhere, other gur varieties ruled flat in the absence of worthwhile buying movements.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also depiced a flat trend on small buying support.
Marketmen said mounting stocks on relentless arrivals from manufacturing belts amid selective buying by stockists and retailers particularly pulled down gur pedi prices in Delhi.
In Delhi, gur pedi prices settled lower by Rs 100 to end the day at Rs 3,100-3,200 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,100-3,200, pedi Rs 3,300-3,400, dhayya Rs 3,500-3,600 and shakkar Rs 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,500-2,550, chakku Rs 2,900- 3,250, khurpa Rs 2,850-2,900 and Ladoo Rs 2,950-3,000.
