The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market ended flat at national capital today as prices continued to be asked at previous closing levels in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled around overnight levels on sporadic deals.
Marketmen said persistent supplies from manufacturing areas against restricted buying mainly kept gur prices steady.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku 2,500-2,600, pedi 2,650-2,750, dhayya 2,800-2,900 and shakkar 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,200-2,250, chakku 2,250-2,500, khurpa 2,200-2,300 and Ladoo 2,400-2,500.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,400-2,500 and dhayya 2,500-2,550.
