Gur price remains quiet in thin trade
Press Trust of India New Delhi Gur (Jaggery) prices remain unchanged at the wholesale market in the national capital today as prices relentlessly asking on previous closing levels following weak demand due to off-season.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets too depicted at last levels in thin trade.
Marketmen said little buying support following off-season mainly resulted in a steadiness in prices.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,900-4,000, pedi Rs 4,000-4,100, dhayya Rs 4,100-4,200 and shakkar Rs 4,200-4,300.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 3,400-3,450, chakku Rs 3,425-3,500, khurpa Rs 2,925-2,950 and Ladoo Rs 3,000-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,700-3,800 and dhayya Rs 3,150-3,175.
