Gur prices close stable on some support

Gur (jaggery) prices settled on a quiet note in the wholesale market at national capital today following sporadic demand amid restricted arrivals.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended steady on little activity.
Maketmen said small buying support and negligible arrivals from manufacturing areas mainly held gur prices on yesterday's levels.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,850-2,950, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,650-2,700, chakku Rs 2,350-2,500, khurpa Rs N.T. And Ladoo Rs N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,600-2,650 and dhayya Rs NT.
