Gur prices end quiet on sporadic buying

The wholesale gur (jaggery) market ended quiet in the national capital today with prices after moving in a narrow range on bouts of little buying and selling, ended same on last levels.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also followed suit and settled at overnight levels in thin trade.

Marketmen said besides adequate stocks, scattered buying by stockist and retailers largely kept gur prices unmoved.
