Gur remains flat in Delhi; raskat up in Muzzafarnagar

There was not much activity at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today as prices continued to move in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
However, gur raskat in Muzzafarnagar moved up on buying by stockists against paucity of stocks.
Marketmen said buying by stockists against paucity of stocks led to rise in gur raskat at Muzzafarnagar.
At Muzzafarnagar, gur raskat moved up to Rs 2,900-2,950 from previous level of Rs 2,800-2,900 per quintal.
Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,300-3,400, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya 3,500-3,600 and shakkar 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,900-2,950, chakku 2,850-3,100, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3,050-3,100 and dhayya 3,050-3,100.
