Gur remains steady in thin trading

Quiet conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today with prices after moving in a tight range on some support, closed at previous closing.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a similar trend in restricted activity.
Marketmen said poor demand along with negligible arrivals, mainly kept prices unmoved.
Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,400-3,500, pedi 3,500-3,600, dhayya N.A. And shakkar 3,700-3,800.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 3,000-3,025, chakku 2,950-3,100, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3,150-3,200 and dhayya N.A.
