Gur remains steady on little doing

Dull conditions developed in the wholesale gur (jaggery) market at national capital with prices by and large after hovering both ways on limited buying and selling, settled at previous levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended flat after showing tight movements.
Marketmen said absence of any worthwhile activity amid restricted arrivals and offtake, mainly kept market steady.
Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,200-3,300, pedi 3,200-3,300, dhayya 3,400-3,500 and shakkar 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,700-2,750, chakku 2,750-3,100, khurpa 2,650-2,750 and Ladoo 2,900-3,000.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,850-2,900 and dhayya 2,900-3,000.
