Gur settles steady in thin trade

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market remained steady in the national capital today on sporadic buying support.
Traders said lack of worthwhile activity from local parties and stockists along with restricted supplies kept gur prices quiet.
Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,400-3,500, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya N.A. And shakkar 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,975-3,000, chakku 2,950-3,200, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3,150-3,200 and dhayya N.A.
