Gurgaon trader's son abduction: One arrested from Mathura

A key member of the gang, which had allegedly kidnapped Gurgaon-based trader's son, has been arrested from a village in Barsana in the district, police said here today.
Iqbal, a key member of Haaris Mama gang, was arrested by SWAT and Barsana police team from Hathia village under Barsana police station yesterday, SP (rural) Ajai Kumar said.
The arrested accused was carrying a reward of Rs 5,000 on his head, he added.
Sukprit (25), son of plastic trader Harendra Preeti Baxi, was kidnapped from MG Road, Gurgoan, on October 12.
He was released after a ransom of Rs 50 lakh was allegedly paid by the trader.
According to Iqbal he has taken Rs 50,000 and rest of the money is with other members of the gang.
"Our priority is to nab other gang members and recover as much money as possible," the SP added.
