Gurmeet not comfortable doing intimate scenes

Actor Gurmeet Choudhary, who is seen sharing a great chemistry with Sana Khan in their upcoming film "Wajah Tum Ho," says he finds shooting intimate scenes on screen difficult.
The 32-year-old model-actor reveals that he is shy of women and was not comfortable filming bold scenes.
"There is hesitation to do it (bold scenes). I am shy. I was unable to say I love you to my wife, unable to propose so I am that shy. I was afraid to do it (bold scenes) but I made sure I looked convincing on screen.
"I find it (bold scenes) difficult to do. I got into my character of Ranveer Bajaj as an actor. I am not Gurmeet when I do a scene be it romantic or action or emotional," Gurmeet told PTI.

"Wajah Tum Ho" is a crime thriller directed by Vishal Pandya and also features Sharman Joshi.
According to Gurmeet his actress wife Debina doesn't have any objection to love making scenes.

"Whenever we get the script I read it with her so she is aware what I am going to do in the film. She is quite supportive and understanding," he said.
Gurmeet says he learnt a lot from Sharman and was not insecure about sharing the screen space with him.
"Sharman is a very good actor. I learnt a lot from him. When I was offered the film I was aware about my role and my co-stars so there was nothing to worry. I did not feel insecure over screen space. Its the quality of your work that matters and not quantity," he added.

In the film, Gurmeet plays the role of a lawyer and to get his nuances correct he worked very hard.
"I am a lawyer in the film named Ranveer Bajaj. It was challenging to play lawyer initially. I worked hard for reference I went to several local court, read law books and I also saw films that has actors playing lawyer.
"Most of the time I used to be in the costume of a lawyer even after reaching home. I have actually lived that character," he adds.
