The Haflong-Lanka road was restored after it was blocked yesterday due to incessant rains and landslip at Haflong as the main road connecting the town in several places was blocked and damaged, they said.
This had lead to transitory blockade in between Haflong-Lumding, Haflong-Silchar and Haflong-Lanka road.
The N F Railway authorities have cancelled all trains running in the hill section between Silchar-Lumding due to landslips at several places and damage of tracks between New Haflong-Migrendisa Mahur, Phaiding and several other sections.
