Half eaten, decomposed body of infant found in drainage

A decomposed and half-eaten body of a newborn baby girl was today recovered from a drainage at Kanthal in this tourist town, police said.
A resident of Kanthal noticed a dog carrying a severed arm and immediately informed neighbours and also police.
Police personnel, who searched the area, found the half-eaten child's body, wrapped in a towel, in the drainage and sent it to the Government Hospital here, police said.
In appearance, the baby was just two or three days old. Further investigations were on, they said.
