Pitt, 50, and Jolie, who enjoyed a nine-year-long courtship, tied the knot in a private ceremony on August 23, at their estate in the south of France.
Though Voight, 75, was not invited to his daughter's wedding, he is happy for the couple and wished them luck, reported People magazine.
"I am very happy that I can now legitimately call him my son-in-law, this wonderful fellow who I love, and that they're very happy. The kids must have had a wonderful time at the wedding because they all had their things to do," he said, adding that right now the couple is busy with their film 'By The Sea' but as soon as they get free, he will meet them.
