The 24-year-old actor, who is the younger son of Naseeruddin Shah will be seen in a pivotal role opposite actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan and Sonu Sood in the film.
"'Happy New Year' is a life changing experience for me. It was very educative for me because I got to work with such senior actors in the film. 'Happy New Year' is one of the most important things of my life," said Vivaan, who was here last evening to promote the Farah Khan's Diwali release.
He shook his leg on Happy New Year's track 'Lovely', which is picturised on Deepika in the film.
"Tap dancing makes me happy. I learnt it from Farah ma'am in the film. I am a non-dancer and like dancing on streets. I find street dance one of the happiest mode of dancing," Vivaan said.
