The Secretary of the Rajya Sainik Board has been renamed as Director of Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department, he said.
At the district level, Zila Sainik Board has been rechristened as District Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department and the secretary, Zila Sainik Board as District Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Officer, the spokesperson said.
