Har Health Minister Anil Vij comes out in Khemka's support

Senior IAS officer Ashok Khemka's tweet in which he had said that it was "humiliating" for him to hold a "lower rank" post and awaiting posting on promotion for the last three months has stirred Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij who said he will speak to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Coming out in support of Khemka, Vij said he was a "straightforward" officer and he should get his "due".
"I will meet the Chief Minister in this regard," Vij told reporters here, as he associated himself with what the IAS officer must be feeling that made him tweet his anguish.

"Awaiting posting on promotion for last 3 months. Holding a lower rank post is humiliating. Like a Lt Gen forced to hold post of Brigadier," Khemka, who currently holds the rank of Principal Secretary in Haryana government, had tweeted a few days ago.
The 1991-batch officer was promoted to the rank of Principal Secretary in January by the BJP-led Haryana government.
Khemka had shot into limelight in 2012 when he had cancelled the mutation of a land deal between M/s Skylight Hospitality, a company of Congress president Sonia Gandhi's Robert Vadra, and DLF Universal Ltd.

Notably, Khemka posted another tweet today.

"Do not color or expect my actions to be pro-or anti-somebody. Duty is action without fear or favour. 'Nishkam Karya' as propounded in Gita," Khemka tweeted tonight.
Meanwhile, touching upon another issue, Vij said the department had received a file from Dera Sacha Sauda for opening a medical college in Sirsa.
He said the file was being studied and the government would soon take a decision.
Vij also informed that the process for setting up medical college in Jind, Panchkula and Bhiwani by the government had also been initiated.
