Haryana announces e-procurement for farmers to sell crops

Farmers will be given an e-procurement to facility to sell their crops according to their convenience, Haryana Food and Supplies Minister Karan Dev Kamboj said today.
Efforts would be made to complete all formalities before the procurement season of paddy, he said in a statement.
A meeting of commission agents has been convened in Kurukshetra on August 22 to discuss various aspects of e-procurement, the minister said.
The facilities to be provided to farmers and commission agents would also be discussed in the meeting, he added.
