Haryana CM rules out early assembly polls

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today ruled out the possibility of holding Assembly elections in the state along with the Lok Sabha polls, saying his government will complete its second term.
Hooda, who was sworn in as Chief Minister for a second term on October 25, 2009, told reporters that the assembly elections would not be advanced.
Congress, which had won 40 of the 90 seats, returned to power with the support of five of the six Haryana Janhit Congress-BL MLAs led by Kuldeep Bishnoi and the support of seven Independents.
Hooda said the state unit of Congress would hold, what he claimed as, the biggest ever rally in the state at Gohana in Sonepat district on Sunday.

He said the 'Gohana Shakti Rally' would not only highlight the achievements of of his government during the last nine years, but also apprise people of future road map of the state.
