In view of the prevailing severe cold wave conditions and foggy weather, Haryana government today extended holidays in all government and private primary schools in the state by two days from tomorrow.
The government had last week announced that all primary schools in the state shall remain closed till January 16 amid intense cold weather conditions, an official spokesman said.
As cold wave continued to intensify in northern India, the maximum temperature today dipped by several notches across Haryana settling in the range of 12-15 degrees Celsius.
Thick fog in the morning today also reduced visibility at several places in the state.
