The committee was formed under the chairmanship of Keshni Anand Arora, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of Revenue Department to study the recommendations given in the report of Parkash Singh Committee for reforms in the police department, ACS, Home Department, Ram Niwas told reporters.
The committee held its first meeting today during which discussion was held on several aspects. It will submit its report in three months, he said.
The Committee comprises Ram Niwas, ACS, Development and Panchayats Department Navraj Singh Sandhu, Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department Mahavir Singh and Secretary, Chief Secretary Office Neerja Sekhar.
