Haryana govt announces incentives for its employees

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today announced increase in medical and dearness allowances of the state government employees and implementation of G Madhvan Committee report regarding pay anomalies.
The Chief Minister, who held a meeting with the office bearers of Sarv Karamchari Mahasang, here today, also said apart from this, the demands put up by them would also be consider sympathetically, an official spokesperson said.
Following this, the medical allowance of the employees would be increased by 10 per cent and dearness allowance (DA) by 6 per cent from the existing 119 per cent to 125 per cent, the spokesperson said, adding that this would put an additional burden of Rs 315.34 crore per year on the state exchequer.
He said the Chief Minister has decided to soon implement the report of G Madhvan Committee on pay anomalies of the employees after studying it.
A committee would also be constituted to remove pay anomalies of the employees working in various Boards and Corporations of the government.
The Chief Minister said the state government has already made a provision of Rs 4,000 crore in the budget to implement report of the 7th Pay Commission.
As soon as the Central government implements it, the state government will follow the same.
The Chief Minister also announced to soon implement the transfer policy of teachers, under which they would be given eight options.
Apart from this, those teachers who are prepared to serve at any place in the state, would get incentive in addition to the salary, he said, adding that a similar policy would also be implemented for the health department employees.
Also new buses would be added to the state roadways fleet.
