Haryana govt extends date of payment of property tax

The Haryana government has extended the date for payment of property tax in urban areas of the state till May 31, 2017.
A rebate of 15 per cent will be given on lump sum payment of arrears of the property tax up to May 31, 2017.
A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of the Urban Local Bodies Department held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar here today, an official spokesman said.
