Haryana govt notifies e-Seva Scheme for CSCs

To ensure efficient, transparent and reliable government services are accessible to the common man, the state government today notified Haryana e-Seva Scheme for Common Services Centres.
Services related to all departments of government like receipt of applications under RTI, grievance registration and printing of any application form would be available at CSCs, a government spokesman said.
Apart from this, several important services related to various departments namely Revenue and Disaster Management, Forest and Wildlife, Power, Finance, Urban Local Bodies and Health, Health, Home, Urban Local Bodies, Public Health Engineering, Social Justice and Empowerment, Welfare of scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Education, Elections, Transport, Employment and Food and Supplies would also be provided in these CSCs, he said.
About 2,500 Common Service Centres (CSCs) would be set up throughout the state under phased manner.
These CSCs would be set up both in rural and urban areas and would be functional under Integrated Electronic Services Model, a spokesperson of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology said.
Under the scheme, as many as 500 CSCs would be set up in the state under the first phase till March 2014 and 2000 CSCs would be set up under 18 to 24 months under second and third phase of the scheme.
He said that each rural CSC would cater to a population of about 10,000 people.
