Stating this here today, an official spokesman said that 31 Common Facility Centres (CFCs) would be opened under the Cluster Development Scheme.
Diagnostic Study Reports (DSRs) have been prepared for 20 clusters and submitted to the Centre for its appraisal, he said.
"Of these, five clusters, including Bahadurgarh, Panipat, Sonipat and Karnal, have been approved for setting up of the CFCs. Four additional CFCs are expected to be okayed shortly," he said.
"They will address the common needs of MSMEs in the fields of research and development, technology upgrade, standardisation of products, quality testing and marking facilities and marketing initiatives, etc.," he added.
