Addressing a meeting of party workers, Haryana Power Minister Ajay Singh Yadav advised Singh not to "indulge in gimmicks" after deciding to leave the party.
Yadav rebutted Singh's charges that the state government was discriminating with southern Haryana in implementation of development works.
He wondered how Rao, who had occupied ministerial berths, was unaware of decisions like upgrading of Postgraduate Regional Centre of Mirpur into Indira Gandhi University and establishment of a Central University in Mahendergarh, besides others.
Speaking after inaugurating the office of his outfit the Haryana Insaaf Manch in Gurgaon today, Singh had alleged irregularities in various urban master plans and development projects under the Hooda government in Haryana, and sought inquiry into these "scams".
