Haryana panchayat members roped in to curb cheating in exams

With a view to curbing cheating during the Haryana School Education Board Examinations, the state government has sought the help of newly-elected educated and young members of Panchayati Raj institutions.
Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said in an official release today he has directed the district education officers to constitute committees of newly-elected members of PRIs and intellectuals who would be present outside the examination centres and make people aware of the evils of cheating.
The Board examinations commence on March 8.
