Industrial units of Haryana will exhibit their products in two international trade fairs to be organised in Greece and Italy in September and December 2018, respectively.
This decision was taken in the 29th Governing Body meeting of Haryana Trade Fair Authority that held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary D S Dhesi today.
The industrial units of Haryana will be able to display their products in trade fairs organised in other countries, to boost exports in the state, he said.
The Thessaloniki International Fair in Thessaloniki, Greece will be held from September 8 to 16, 2018 and AF-LArtigiano in Fiera International Fair will be held in December 2018 in Milan, Italy, he said.
He said that Haryana Trade Fair Authority besides participating in Indian International Trade Fair to be held on November 14, 2018 at New Delhi,will also participate in Pravasi Bhartiya Divas to be held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh in January 2019.
Haryana Trade Fair Authority will also participate in Aajeevika Mela and Aahar Mela to be held in February or March 2019 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
He also issued directions to the officers of the Authority to increase their activities and also to organize fairs related to real estate, education and agriculture and prepare a calendar.
During the meeting, approval was granted to the budget of Rs 2.85 crore for Financial Year 2018-19 and the proposal of creating a website of Haryana Trade Fair Authority.
'Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Rural India' will be the theme of Indian International Trade Fair-2018 to be held on November 14, 2018, he said.
