Hathway Cable Q4 net narrows to Rs 46 cr

Hathway Cable and Datacom today reported a standalone net loss of Rs 45.9 crore for the fourth quarter ended March.
The company had posted net loss of Rs 76.9 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Its net sales during the quarter under review were up 23.3 per cent at Rs 331.9 crore as against Rs 269.1 crore in the year-ago period, Hathway said in a BSE filing.
For the entire 2015-16, the company has reported net loss of Rs 171.3 crore as against net loss of Rs 175.2 crore in the previous fiscal.
Its net sales for the fiscal stood at Rs 1,166.4 crore compared with Rs 1,019.4 crore in the previous year.
In a separate filing, the company said its board has "given its in-principle approval to merge and amalgamate three operational wholly-owned subsidiary companies of the company with it".
The stock was trading 2.22 per cent up at Rs 34.50 on BSE.
