A Kalyan resident Ashok Gautam (57), who is associated with the movement of the veteran activist, has been getting messages in his account about harming Hazare since last three weeks following which he lodged a complaint last night, inspector DM Katke of MFC police station said.
An FIR has been filed against two Canada-based persons-- Agan Vidhu and his friend Neil--who threatened to come down to India and shoot Hazare dead, he said.
Also, offences under sections 506(2) of the IPC and 66 A of the IT Act have been registered against the two accused.
Hazare's 1100-km foot march protesting the 'anti-farmer' Bill will span over a period of three months and is set to begin from Gandhi Ashram in Wardha to Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi.
Gautam is a social worker and has taken part in several agitations led by Hazare.
