The Lucknow bench of the High Court, comprising Justice Sunil Ambawani and Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya, passed the orders on the petition filed by Bharat Swabhimaan Trust.
The petitioner challenged the orders of sub divisional magistrates of Amethi, Tiloi and Musafirkhana refusing permission to organise camps at the mentioned places on different dates.
The SDMs concerned had denied permission on April 27.
While opposing the petition, it was contended on behalf of the state goernment that the petitioner was violating the Model Code of Conduct in the name of camps and there was possibility of breach of peace, and communal harmony could be disturbed.
