A Division Bench comprising Justice T Mathivanan and Justice C T Selvam issued notice to the Inspector of Police and SI of Pallikonda Police Station in Vellore District.
Petitioner K Palani (37) of Pallikonda stated that his wife left their home at 4 AM on May 24 and had not returned till now.
He submitted that he came to understand that two persons were involved in human trafficking in the locality and they might have kidnapped her and sold her somewhere else.
Petitioner alleged that SI G Ravi, who is dealing with the case, had not taken any step to trace his wife and instead had instead asked him to approach a sorcerer (Magician) and give a clue so that he could rescue her.
