Hudson, Vijaya Milk Dairy and Dodha submitted that the minister's charge that milk and milk products produced by them was adulterated was without any basis and claimed damages of Rs one crore each from the minister.
Justice C V Karthikeyan before whom the civil suits came up for hearing, issued notice to the minister and adjourned the matter for further hearing to July 27.
