The order in this regard was issued by Justice S S Sateeshchandran on the bail application by Menon, who was arrested early this month on a complaint by one Rafique Ali, who claimed that she had accompanied scam accused Biju Radhakrishnan when he collected over Rs 70 lakh from him.
Opposing the bail plea, Director General of Prosecutions T Asaf Ali said there was 'ample evidence' to show that Menon was involved in the case. She had directly received Rs 46 lakh.
The actor's counsel had earlier submitted that she had not received any unlawful amounts in connection with the solar deal. Her assets are made out of her dance school, acting and dance programmes. She said she had purchased a car from a private financial agency.
Her bail plea had earlier been rejected by a lower court in Thiruvananthapuram.
