Justice R Subbaiah granted the interim injunction on the civil suit filed by Khan.
In his petition, Khan alleged that the FEFSI Secretary started preventing his shooting activities to "wreck vengeance" against him for contesting for the post of president of South India Film Artists Association (SIFAA).
He submitted he has already decided on the heroine and other supporting actors and had incurred huge expenditure.
Khan alleged that when he commenced shooting of the film in Thiruvallur district, FEFSI threatened the technicians twice and prevented them from working in the shooting unit.
Hence he prayed for a direction from the court to restrain FEFSI from interfering with shooting of his film and prayed to award damages of Rs 25 lakh for the loss incurred by him during shooting.
