Stylish India batsman V V S Laxman, the chief guest, honoured the players from Ranji, women and Under-14 teams.
Those who were felicitated included Ranji captain D B Ravi Teja and his colleagues who elevated the team from the Plate League to the Elite.
Laxman praised coach Sunil Joshi and the team members for their dedication and efforts in restoring Hyderabad's prestige. He also appreciated the Hyderabad women cricketers, who were runners-up at the national level, for their hard work.
The initiative of HCA to honour the players, Laxman said, would go a long way in encouraging the players to do well.
Hyderabad wicketkeeper Ibrahim Khaleel, who created a world record for effecting 14 dismissals in a Ranji match against Assam, was also honoured on the occasion.
