Replying to a tweet by another person that it help a lot specially the poor and middle class families, the Prime Minister said, "Indeed. The poor and middle class will benefit greatly from this & will get access to quality healthcare."
The policy, which was unveiled yesterday in Parliament by Health Minister J P Nadda, sets ambitious targets like raising of public expenditure on health care to 2.5 per cent of GDP from the current level of about 1.5 per cent.
The policy also envisions increasing life expectancy to 70 years from 67.5 years and proposes free diagnostics and drugs at all public hospitals
To a tweet by someone on recent poll results, Modi said, "Humility always helps, be it in victory or defeat."
Someone talked about the need for humour in public life. "We surely need more humour in public life," he responded.
